KO 5

On July 15th, Oliver and I celebrated our fifth anniversary. I won’t go into all of the details of our last five years, but we earned this anniversary. I am proud of our dedication to make it work and have a good time doing it. We also strive to let the other be who they really are and that was inspired by the book Passionate Marriage, suggested by a good friend of mine several years ago.

To acknowledge our achievement, we treated ourselves to a delightful dinner at the Inn at Langley, which is in the town where we married in 2013, at the south end of Whidbey Island. Like our dinner at Willows Inn on Lummi Island, I enjoyed photographing each dish and eating them even more. We also took advantage of the sommelier’s suggestions and went with the planned pairings. They are always worth it!
