Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to take a look around once in a while, you could miss it. – Ferris Bueller
This year truly has flown and when I get to the summary for our holiday card, I’ll probably be astounded.
I just spent last week in Anchorage, Alaska for the annual travel industry convention, which is something I’ve done for my day job since 2008. It’s super fun! And, it’s super exhausting. And, it’s a marker of the fall season.
I’m trying to spend my weekends split between putting the garden to bed, home improvement and general maintenance, and simply relaxing. In short, I’m working on the world immediately around me. It feels good. It feels like meditation. It feels like life.
I feel compelled to share that I do have an open house / show this Thursday from 5-8pm at Basecamp at 1420 Hewitt. There will be three of us presenting our talents and I hope you’ll stop by. It’s our aim to keep this once a month showcase for the North Sound Artist Collective running for the near future.
More details can be found on our Facebook page —

I’ll be selling metal prints, archival digital prints, wood prints, and wait for it, good old silver gelatin prints.
May the change of the season be kind to you, and may we all survive this outrageous election season. Be sure to vote!
